York and the rest of my crew has just finished loading the keel boat. They have filled it with goods and gifts for the next people we come by. I sure hope our ship will have enough buoyancy to last through our whole trip. If not, I'm sure Seaman, my trusty dog, will start howling at us. The first people we met was a tribe of Indians. Their name was Sioux. We gave them a great many gifts. We were all celebrating for a long time. It was a very fun time. When we started to get on our way, they warned us about another tribe that was in our path. They would not receive our gifts. They would not even talk to us. I await this new adventure with great ambition.

I am still on my expedition with William Clark and I have met his slave York.York and I are good friends now, he has told me about buoyancy, I shared that with the seamen. We met indians and their chief Sioux. Our type of boat is a keelboat.

Today when we were sailing York spotted some Sioux Indians! We traded for lots of heavy stuff. Our seaman said he was very glad that our boat has good buoyancy. I love my travels with William Clark!

Today we are were sailing by the land and spotted some kind of people who did not look like any of my ship crew, we slowed the boat and then used a keelboat to go to shore. Once we we there we saw two tribes the Siox and the Yorks.
